With only 18 days left until I depart for the Peace Corps heading to Macedonia for the next 27 months, I thought it's about time that I create a blog!
For those of you wondering where in the world is Macedonia, here is a map! (99% of people who ask me where I am serving while in the Peace Corps have no idea where this country is!) Honestly I had no idea where this country was when I received the email with my placement. It is located above Greece and next to Albania and became a country in 1991. It used to be one of the former Yugoslavia successor states. I am beyond excited to be living in Europe again! I studied in London, Twickenham to be exact, in 2012 and ended staying and traveling in Europe for 8 months! It was the best time of my life and having been placed in Europe again is a true blessing!
There are so many emotions running through my mind. Thankfully wifi will be very accessible while I am in Macedonia so I should be able to blog quite often! I am really looking forward to sharing my journey with everyone! Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I prepare for this next chapter in my life.
